An Incentivzed and Goal Oriented Composting "How-To" App for iOS and Tablet Devices
Introduced as an app, Composted is geared towards serving and initiating educational, goal-setting activities based on a user's harvesting. As an activity that is shared amongst all ages, the app's target audience is for young adults beginning to increase their sustainable habits. Structured for a daily use, the user logs their met goals for the day, anticipate growth to look forward to, and get a full view of their measured growth.
For those with a small space to compost and harvest, the app meets alternative solutions to engage through networking to community gardening resources. Through purely self-led interactivity from the home hub keys to customized activities, allows for growth based on your and the plant's status. It all starts with the user's capture of their current mulch where content and data is individualized based on it's real-time state.
Composted is developed for devices with a rear camera, such as an iOS device or a tablet, to allow for a comprehensive gardening record. Interfaces for both platforms incorporate additive scroll features to establish an independent relationship to the app. Elements like the main home on iOS is adapted for larger formats' specific accessibilities.
